About Linsey Levine

Linsey Levine is a catalyst with a passion for helping people create conscious career choices and connections that are aligned with their values, talents, and unique strengths. She helps people get unstuck, get clear, get focused, and get moving!

What makes Linsey smile is inspiring and empowering clients to discover and move into their career goals. As a New York State licensed counselor and Master Career Development Professional through NCDA, she truly enjoys helping people uncover their passions, expand possibilities, create options, and build supportive communities.

Linsey's mission is to provide guidance, clarity, and focus for obtaining financially and emotionally rewarding work. She offers individual career counseling and coaching, and also conducts group workshops. Her resume samples appear in many resume writing books published by JIST.

As a facilitator of structured networking events for ExecuNet, a nationwide career management and education group, Linsey teaches and enables more effective networking processes and techniques for executives and other business professionals - for career transition and for life. Linsey facilitates monthly meetings in Parsippany NJ, and the White Plains area of Westchester, NY.

As a mid-life career changer herself, she identifies with what it felt like to be confused and stuck. She returned to graduate school for a Masters Degree in Career Development, and then became Adjunct Faculty in the Career Development Masters Program at The College of New Rochelle, where she developed curriculum and supervised the internship program. Prior careers included headhunting/recruiting for attorneys, editing for Addison Wesley Publishing Company, bookstore management, and teaching elementary school.

Linsey earned her MS in Career Development from The College of New Rochelle and BA in Education from Queens College. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) by Type Resources (1996) and is an active member of:
